The plants have been growing for a few weeks now. The roots have now started to grow and they look like spider webs. I lifted the lid and took a picture of the roots. Because the roots are in water you can see the roots really clearly. I think if it was in soil it would have more space but look similar. Also the plant doesn't need washing since was grown inside and in water.
That’s a great picture and shows the roots webbing and how they grow perfectly. The lettuce must be very tasty with such healthy looking roots xx
